Notice is hereby given that the City of Jacksonville’s Greater Arlington Beaches Citizens Planning Advisory Committee (GAB CPAC) will meet in a hybrid/in-person meeting on Monday, August 11, 2025, 6:30 p.m. The meeting will be held in person at the Ed Austin Regional Park (PAL Building) 3450 Monument Road and virtually through Zoom webinar. The public is invited to attend in person or via Zoom webinar.

Saturday, August 9th, Jacksonville City Council Member Terrance Freeman along with members from the Jacksonville City Council and ALPHA Starz, Inc., in partnership with Walmart, will host “Pack the Sack III.”

This annual event aims to provide school supplies and backpacks to 6,000 Duval County students. Last year, the event successfully distributed over 7,500 backpacks filled with essential school supplies. After the Event all left over supplies was donated to ALPHA STARZ, INC for another Back 2 School Jamboree.

Additionally, to school supplies, this year’s event will feature vendors, free haircuts, and resource information for families and students.
