City Council Finance Committee Budget Hearing

Notice is hereby given that the Finance Chair, Raul Arias, will meet with the Finance Committee Members in the Council Chamber, located at 117 West Duval Street, 1st Floor, St. James Building, on the dates noted below to discuss the 2025-2026 Budget. Each of the meetings are scheduled as follows from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and are anticipated to have a 1-hour break for lunch:

• Thursday, August 7, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

• Friday, August 8, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

• Thursday, August 14, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

• Friday, August 15, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

• Thursday, August 21, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Notice is hereby given that the City of Jacksonville Downtown Investment Authority (DIA) will meet on Wednesday, August 20th, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. via In-Person meeting. The meeting noticed herein can be accessed in-person at the Jacksonville Public Library-Main Library Downtown. Council Member Michael Boylan, (District 6), will host a noticed meeting on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. in the Lynwood Roberts Room, located at 117 W. Duval Street, Jacksonville, FL 32202. The objective of the meeting is to inform colleagues about the significant progress made in two key areas:
  1. Reducing the use of hospital emergency rooms for primary care.
  2. Helping constituents establish a patient-centered medical home (PCMH).
This success is attributed to public-private partnerships. This meeting aims to highlight the effectiveness of these collaborations in achieving these goals to warrant continued public support
