With a focus on eliminating blight in our neighborhoods the City of Jacksonville offers citizens opportunities and events that encourage appropriate disposal of waste and other debris throughout Jacksonville. One of these many efforts is through the Solid Waste Division, which is hosting a household hazardous waste (HHW) and electronic waste (e-waste) mobile collection event. This event is open to Active Duty, Retirees, Reservists, National Guard, Veterans, Department of Defense personnel, and dependents. Please note that dependent children are not authorized to purchase wristbands. Please get your wristbands now, they will not be sold at the venue. Wristbands are available for purchase at the NAS Jax, Mayport USO offices and Kings Bay ITT office. Admission includes zoo admission, unlimited train rides, and the land of the tiger exhibits. The tickets are $5.00 per person and kids under 2 are free.
