The City of Jacksonville will be hosting a tree planting on December 19th at 1:30 p.m. to honor Jean Sagin Montney; known as the Lady of the Trees for her tree planting and beatification efforts throughout our City.

The purpose of the meeting is to discuss 2019-0879 regarding the proposed revisions to the Renew Arlington Zoning Overlay which contains an abbreviated process for plan review for signs, fencing, and landscaping within the Renew Arlington Zoning Overlay area. Notice is hereby given that Council Member LeAnna Cumber has amended and cancelled a noticed meeting on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 from 1:00pm to 2:00pm in Conference Room A, located in City Hall at 117 West Duval Street, Suite 425, Jacksonville, Fl. 32202. The purpose of the meeting was to provide input to the Council President as a way to support the process going forward. Discussions will include (1) my concerns and thoughts about the dramatic change in Council’s role in the JEA process and (2) a potential framework to analyze and fully vet each of the five recapitalization options.
