Kwanzaa Celebration (UJIMA) at the Ritz!

The Ritz Theatre and Museum will celebrate UJIMA the third day of Kwanzaa Dec. 28, 2010. The third of seven principles, UJIMA means collective work and responsibility- to build and maintain our community together and make our brothers' and sisters' problems our problem and to solve them together. UJIMA is the commitment that the Ritz will continue to have and strive for in the New Year.

UJIMA, Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2010, is open and FREE to the public. Each person is asked to bring fruit for the table to be shared with each other in the community. There will be a film (The Black Candle by M.K. Asante) and inspirational messages and entertainment from our community.
