On Thursday, the 15th of November, the Department will once again engage in our 'Sea of Blue' procession and, upon concluding the aforementioned, the annual JFRD observance of the 'Fallen Firefighter Memorial.' The memorial march will begin at 10 AM that day and lead participants along south Hogan, past City Hall and ultimately via Ashley to Liberty Street where, at Fire Station #1 located at 611 Liberty Street, tribute will be paid to honor the 22 deceased firefighters who gave their lives for their beloved community.
