July Incidents 2013

As the first named tropical wave originating from the Atlantic Ocean limped toward our general direction, more specifially 'Chantal' that began to fizzle out almost as soon as she formed, this second week of July did deliver a significant event for both the City and the Jacksonville Fire/Rescue Department: the graduation of the first recruit class in quite some time. The Friday, 12 July ceremony sent 24 'rookie' firefighters into duty following the graduation festivities at the Florida State College's Downtown Campus Auditorium. Congratulations!
