This is an unpaid volunteer position. Duties will include assisting staff in answering telephone calls from consumers, referring calls and providing information. Customers require courtesy, tact, and effectiveness. Work is normally performed in an office environment. Dress Code: casual.
Qualifications:
* Desire to be helpful.
* Ability to communicate effectively.
* Excellent telephone skills.
* Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
* Basic computer skills
This commitment is for 1-2 hours per day several days per week for 1-4 months. Community service participants and teen volunteers are acceptable. Volunteers are responsible for their own transportation.
